Biography of Leonardo da Vinci by Walter Isaacson.

• Born in Vinci, small town in Tuscany near Florence, in 1452 April 15th.
• Bastard, but his father and grandfather takes care of him
• Due to being a bastard, he is not sent to pursue notary profession ( notary guild would not accept an illegitim child ) so he does a little bit of "abacus" math school and mostly self educates for the rest of his life
• He's aware he does not hold official degrees. He takes it defensive when latter people with official studies would disparage him for the lack of papers, and proudly stands for his self experimenting and self learning approach.
